Do everything in love.

1 Corinthians 6:14

Canadian singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Danilyon first began writing her own music as a child while reaching for solace and comfort after her father was left paralyzed a result of a serious accident. As she honed her craft as a musician and songwriter, she later worked as a Music Therapist at the Music Therapy Centre in Toronto to assist children on the Autism Spectrum and adults with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.

In 2017, Danilyon released her debut single, “Clouds” with the help of former management Emtee Music Group. It was predominantly featured on Huffington Post and has received support from Spotify being placed on several New Music Friday playlists across the globe including in Canada, Sweden, Norway, Indonesia and more. This caught the attention of Cadence Music Group, A&R Matthew Vlahovich, former lead singer of Young Empires. Danilyon signed to Cadence Music Group for a year, further developing her songwriting and production techniques, working with various producers and writers including Joel Stouffer (Dragonette), Maia Davies (Inside Pocket/Noble Street Studios), Jonathan Li, and Rosanne Baker Thornley and North Easton, Matthew Montour (Boxcar Studios), and Reign. She has also been a part of SOCAN Songwriting Mondays.

Danilyon has since also worked to develop her vocal performance with vocal coach, Lorraine Lawson, where she received an opportunity to assist in the Canadian TV show “The Launch” Season 2. Her passion to perform has also led to opening for US touring artist, Kevin Devine, a performance at Canadian Music Week, and most recently CK Flight Fest and CK's ROCK the Park, alongside other bands including Midian Worship, Manic Drive, and Juno-Award winning band, The Color.

In 2018, Danilyon was the featured artist on Vanrip X Cureton’s single, “Away From You” (supported by Kygo, David Guetta, Martin Garrix). The track was chosen for Spotify EDM playlists such as Time to Dance, and New Music Friday Canada. In fall 2018, having completed his European/Asian tour, Greek DJ Producer, Acejax released his debut single featuring Danilyon. The single reached wide-ranging success with 16 + million Spotify streams and counting. The song has been favored on Youtube by the Labrant Family as one their opening themes, the Fortnite gaming community’s “Fe4rless”, as well as popular makeup tutorial influencers.

In 2019, Danilyon moved from Toronto back to her hometown, Chatham, Ontario where she opened up a private music therapy practice. She continues to develop her songwriting and music production skills as a tool in her practice with various client populations including Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum and in her work in Palliative Care.

In spring 2022, Danilyon released her first co-produced song, “Hymn for Her” with producer/mixing engineer Matthew Montour (Boxcar Studios). The song touches on the topic of mental health as it relates to her Christian faith. The song was placed in the semi-finalist category in the 2022 International Songwriting Contest (ISRC).

As she continued to find joy in developing her music production skills, Danilyon was selected for the 2022 SOCAN Equity X Production Mentorship program where her and 25 other women across Canada were selected to develop their talents as female producers. She has received the honour of participating in this year’s first SOCAN Equity X Level 2 program.

Danilyon loves spending time with her husband, family and friends, while serving in at her local church. Did you guess? She also loves dandelions, and there is a big message behind it! Her faith in Jesus plays a central role in her life and in and throughout her music. All her accomplishments have been credited to the grandeur and grace of God.

Danilyon is currently working on her next single release, leading to a 2-Volume EP entitled, Re:Generation and is continuing to grow her knowledge and talents within a community of like-minded musicians as part of an organization known as Kingdom Music Academy.
